"IKEA Metaverse Market" is a project that brings to life a virtual shopping and interactive experience. This immersive experience allows users to navigate through a branded virtual district where they can engage in activities mirroring real-life interactions, such as singing, dancing and greeting others. Additionally, this experience is gamified, allowing consumers to earn real-world IKEA product vouchers by completing in-game tasks.
A key innovation of this project is its ability to integrate seamlessly across multiple digital platforms, such as WeChat, live streaming services, and Taobao, directing users from public domains to IKEA's private digital space, thereby enhancing customer flow from broader digital ecosystems into IKEA's curated Metaverse experience. This strategic approach not only enriches the shopping journey by merging interaction, entertainment, and commerce but also significantly improves traffic conversion.
It is implemented on different phone programs through cloud rendering, allowing users to experience it in a lightweight manner via their mobile phones.
As a project manager, my responsibility in this project ensures that every aspect, from spatial design to user experience, is carefully curated.
