Jiaxin Cao is a innovative spatial designer, focusing on how we can inhabit complex environment integrated with technologies. His experience spans product design, architectural design, and virtual space design.

He believes that space should not just be a fixed container but a dynamic sandbox where we can freely create and interact using technology, allowing the environment to effectively cultivate our emotions and drive specific behaviors. Therefore, he is also interested in interdisciplinary approaches, including HCI, computer vision, sensory design, perceptual psychology, and more fields to achieve innovative solutions.

His working experience includes working on diverse spatial design projects at Archi-Union Architects(2020) in Shanghai and Studio10(2021) in Shenzhen. Additionally, as a product designer and project manager at Config Reality(2021-2022), a Shenzhen-based company specializing in XR content distribution and service, he successfully led multiple projects and delivered them to a broad audience.

He commenced his architectural education at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA School) in London, UK, in 2017. He achieved his Bachelor's degree with honours in 2020 and Master's degree (MArch) with AA Diploma in 2024, alongside attaining Part 1 and Part 2 certifications of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in those years respectively.​​
